The compatible smartphone, for now, with Quick Charge 3.0

Quick Charge 3.0

Taking the view a few months ago, specifically until September, we remember as Qualcomm announced that devices armed with its new generation of processors, namely the Snapdragon 820 model would be able to present speeds much faster and efficient charging through technology Quick Charge 3.0. Seven months later, the first devices that boast this function are beginning to reach consumers.

Fellow Android Police have saved us the effort to locate all compatible smartphones with this technology that allows you to charge smartphones (seize it) a lot faster than the previous version of the same technology Qualcomm is, Quick Charge 2.0.

Here are all compatible devices with this system load:

Xiaomi MI 5
HTC One A9

Although before proceeding must explain that at the time of its launch, the HTC One A9 was not compatible with fast charging technology from Qualcomm, but thanks to an update via OTA acquired compatibility with Quick Charge 3.0.

No doubt it is a somewhat scarce and disappointing list, which are cast in terminal lack as famous as the Samsung Galaxy S7 or the new Sony xperia X range, but we are confident that in the near future we will see more devices operating with one of the most publicized news for Qualcomm when he presented his latest CPU.

What does Quick Charge 3.0?
Quick Charge 3.0 is a technology not only present in the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 stars in the interior of the aforementioned terminals, but are also present in the Snapdragon 617 and the Snapdragon 430, two processors that have not yet seen the light within any terminal, although the latter could power the next generation of Motorola Moto G.

The system is compatible with Quick Charge 2.0 (allowing the charger switch between the two technologies) uses an algorithm that determines how much energy should enter each time the device and is compatible with standard USB Type C. This  assumes that allow upload a device up to 80% in just 35 minutes, four times faster and 38% more efficient than quick Charge 2.0.

Now just have to wait for the LG G5 and Xiaomi Mi 5 land in our country to enjoy a technology like Quick Charge 3.0, owners of a HTC A9 can now take advantage thanks to the latest updates.
